Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

Isn't bungie a one place company that is not Nation wide. I am pretty sure there is either a mole in Bungie or a Mole that is for sure in Microsoft or the companies that are making copies of Halo 2.

Ya i know a lot of people in my school say that have modded xboxes, i will see what i can do ahahahha, even if its ratting out my class mates nothing get in between me and my halo gaming........ You figure you are the first person who hasn't been under the "Kisss of " to see the brand new enemy or vehicle on the new Halo forest (I'm just making this up by the way). It can't be too bad, but yes I understand what you mean about the plot.

I have found a website that has the pirated HALO 2 on it.It is on www.thehalo2forum.com . I would never download it even if my life depended on it.I am waiting until novenber 9 to try it legally.

Good point Godfather (you don't mind if I don't L33T your name right?). I have read all 80-some pages of this thread before posting, but what has happened is wrong and I just had to vent a bit of my fury. I mainly feel sorry for those who have had the game ruined for them by accidentally stumbling across some spoilers that have been leaked. how would you feel? Waiting 3 damn years just to have some sap post an integral part of the story on your favorite forum thus ruining that aspect of your growing anxiety and anticipation. Anyhow...keep up the great posts everyone.
