Did Bungie Lie To Us? Halo 3 doesn't look like what they promised. Its true
Ok.. so when the game HALO 3 was first announed, there was a documentary video came out on the MarketPlace and I believe its still there. And the dev were like "Thats Halo 3, thats how its going to look like, that is the engine". But now when you compare the screen shots.
Halo 3 doesn't look like anything like the first video.
You be the judge.

The shine is gone, the visor is just plain yellow image with lines. You cant see your own refections through it like before. Armour didn't look like it did before, its way too edgy and sharp ends.[/url]

you forget the fact that the first one was shown in the desert with lots of sun to reflect off of. and the second was shown underground with little light to reflect. and the third is shown in the jungle, which looks to be some sort of twilight plus the fact that the first pic was shown in may of 2006, the second was shown sometime in late 06/early 07. and the third was shown roughly a month ago. the graphics and everything changed with time, for the better. main point: STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT GRAPHICS! THATS NOT WHY PEOPLE PLAY HALO! if it was, then everyone with a 360 would be playing gears instead of Halo. [Edited on 08.14.2007 8:52 AM PDT]

You also have to think that maybe chief got another armor, if you remember, the shield and stuff isnt exactly the same as it was in H2, so maybe yeah, you start out with battered armor, but then as the story continues you get new armor....idk

I bet you think gears of wars' graphics are better than halo3 dont you?

You're being ridiculous, the pictures now look better than back then. The only noticeable difference is the color of the armor, and that's just brighter now. Oh and they didn't promise us anything, it's their game, they can make it look how they want. They didn't promise anything. [Edited on 08.14.2007 8:49 AM PDT]

I didn't even click on the links because I played the beta and the graphics there were plenty beauiful for me, and did I meantion my *gasp* standard definition TV? Who cares it's going to be a great game either way, stop acting like you feel betrayed by Bungie, it's stupid.
