Halo Universe: Use Fire
If all else fails... The long wait is over, Halo 3 welcomes the Flamethrower and a fourth grenade into the fold.

Somebody at Bungie is pretty much failure at the metric system. 8 feet isn't 3.4 meters, either. A rough estimate is about 2.5, but an application that I used showed that it's precisely 2.4384 meters.

This is great news! Finally, after all the long years of waiting, the Flamethrower had finally come to the Xbox console. I'm really excited to use the Incendiary grenade as well. Thanks Bungie! You rock!

The Mjolnir armor is supposed to be impervious to heat and cold. According to everything written about the armor, no air, no heat, no cold, not even water can get into his suit. It's impervious to the outside elements. A flamethrower wouldn't do jack -blam!- to MC, and neither would a damn incendiary grenade. i am very happy you're finally putting this into the final game! we got to see glimpses of it back in 2000 when halo was still 3rd person! and again for halo 2! and the flame grenade is going to be a very strategical weapon.. thanks lukems for a great update!

Well first off I must say this is an interesting turn of events because I really never thought they would bring back the flamethrower, but as a support weapon it seems to fit quite well. The grenade should be a lot of fun and helpful in many situations, and now all of this helps tie in the flaming characters that bungie had told EGM about in their first exclusive. I sort of figured they would do something with fire when I read that. Anyways good work bungie, you surprise me just about every week with the new info you release. Thanks a lot you guys are awesome.
