Halo Universe: Use Fire
If all else fails... The long wait is over, Halo 3 welcomes the Flamethrower and a fourth grenade into the fold.

One thing that just crossed my mind in that pic with the guy using the flame thrower it seemed as if it a had a large rang and considering the fact it only has nine shots of a three second burt, this must be an encedibly strong and efective wepon. And a though i wonder what BBQ brute tastes like you know just wondering

I think alot of people are forgetting that fire did damage in halo CE. Maybe they wil base the flamethrower on that.

[/quote] I totally agree. Bungie never told us about the flood for Halo 1 and 2. They wanted to keep it as a surprise though it's really hard for Halo 3, it's evident even without the flamethrower that there will be flood. But in Halo 2, that was a big surprise to me, I never saw it coming. I have to say, I really liked that moment.

i don' t wanna come off as a know it all ... so please so say i'm sooo wrong about what i'm saying, i'm just a really big fan of this game. so to my answer lol, i think tht they are adding this weapon becuase this is supposedly the last game of the trilogy. i honestly think this weapon doesn't fit at all but since its the last and the GREATEST of the trilogy i can see why they are adding so many new things. its gonna be good. no nevermind. ITS GONNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER!!! XD i LOVE HALO!!! and yea people who want to talk and discuss halo you can message me with thoughts or anything. i love tlkin about this game

Yeah if you actually READ ABOUT THE GRENADE and paid attention to it it says the AVERAGE SOLDIER can throw it about 10 meters I don't think the Master Chief is an average soldier god I only wish I could post to every one of you who don't pay attention to this kind of stuff, like the guy who said something about the grenade causing retinal damage again if you read the books the chief has looked at some PRETTY BRIGHT THINGS and his SUIT/HUD can automatically dim the brightness so I'm sure it won't be like flash bang or anything. Only good for defensive situations or for assisting the bomb guy arming the bomb But otherwise good make ftw IT SHOULD BE INTERSTING TO SEE IT IN CAMPAIGN

First! Oh. wait. FTW? But seriously, I love the new weapon and grenade. I am sure that Bungie has done plenty of playtesting to make sure the game stays balanced. Just how they only have the elephant on one map since it only worked there, they will probably only have the FT on maps that it will work. I hope the firebomb is on EVERY MAP. That thing is flippin' sweet. Brute weapon, eh? I would'a thought it was a human weapon...
