The ice melts and dilutes the flavor! Instead of getting Coke, you get a half-Coke, half-water monster. You may as well fill half the cup with tap water.
Not only this, but if wherever you're going to doesn't offer refills, then you're [i]paying[/i] to get less pop.
Now, I know what you're probably thinking: "Who's this dumbass? I need the pop to be [i]cold![/i] Does he expect me to drink warm pop?! What a loser. He must eat babies." Well, there's this thing, you might have heard of it, pretty new invention, it's called a [b]refrigerator.[/b] Stick a two liter in there for 20 minutes, and it's as cold as iced pop. Plus, pop from the fountain at restaurants is already cold.
