Was arguing with a guy at work about how great Halo was, and realized something. If there was one singular thing that separated C.E. from its contemporaries (and a lot of games since), it was enemy psychology. No other game did so much to make you believe the enemies were real. Varying states of alarm/quiet...many games still don't seem to have that. Or even non-combat animations half the time.

Maybe make new rules where you can only melee or stick him for a kill. He - can do anything. I could still best pappy using a shabby team like Florida, and it was fun. Pops actually had a fighting chance and I had to dig deep. That way, a win is a win.
Good times, good times... Halo 4's lack of custom games options and exploration is really frustrating me right now. I'm waiting for the modders to extend campaign modding options so I can finally make engagements more interesting.
If you're into frustration, may I please to recommend Spartan Ops... My KDR in campaign...a distant memory. Mod something that resembles fairness for S.O. and I'm on the Sliding mailing list for life.
