C.E. -The Trump Card

Was arguing with a guy at work about how great Halo was, and realized something. If there was one singular thing that separated C.E. from its contemporaries (and a lot of games since), it was enemy psychology. No other game did so much to make you believe the enemies were real. Varying states of alarm/quiet...many games still don't seem to have that. Or even non-combat animations half the time.

 • Ha-ha. Sounds very familiar. We actually developed a one-kill rule for vehicles - you had to abandon it after the first kill. (Because I actually didn't suck with a Scorpion) Take it easy on the old man, Sliding. (Don't let him win, for cripes sake...just remember all he taught you and how easy he took it on you back in the day...) Is hell to get old. My Dad used to complain that I 'had better reflexes' when we'd play NHL 94. I though it was a load until I found myself fumbling to keep up with my younger counterpart in 3 versus.
