How did the other species of life survive?
How did all the species like the Prophets, Humans, Sanghelis and such survive the blasts from the Halo rings when the Forerunners set them off?

And if the humans survived through the Ark what about the Forerunners that were on it?[/quote] Basically, the Librarian and her Life workers catalogued all the species in the galaxy, took samples, DNA, live specimens, stored them on the Ark, when the Halo array fired, Forerunner ships reseeded life in the galaxy once more.
