Today at lunch, I told everyone that I sit with, if I happened to have a mentally retarded child, I'd probably give it up for adoption. What is your opinion on this? I honestly don't think I'd be able to handle and/or take care of a retarded child. And I don't mean physically retarded or slightly mentally challenged, I mean full on non-functional.
