No way...something isnt right about your theory of the ranking system. For 1, you didnt include the reasons for why you rank faster going in with randoms than going in with friends. My brother and I went into Team Slayer with brand new accounts, only playing that playlist. For some odd reason, we had 3 losses after 100 games and only had a highest skill of 30. The ranking system is meant to progress the better players to a higher skill of games, so that we dont continue to wreck the terrible 30s. That would be great if it worked like that, however after a 60 game win streak (ranking up terribly slow) we lost one against people with the same skill rank but we deranked 2 skill points. Perfections, Rampages, 70% sniper head shots, and more Frenzys then God....we still didnt rank. Bungie gets mad about people destroying bad kids, and making it not fun for them but they refuse to fix the ranking system. If you are consistantly going positive double digits...you are obviously a more skilled player than the players that you are playing. Thanks Bungie...thanks for helping me send more kids to Call of Duty. They hate Halo because of me. [/quote]This issue has been addressed on every other page of this thread. PLaying on new accounts with only the same teammates and no one else will make gaining skill almost impossible. If you guys split up and play 5 or 6 games with randoms and then team back up, you will gains levels much easier. When you only play with the same teammates for ALL of your games the system cannot judge your individual skill and gives you almost nothing for the wins.
