the same exact thing happened to me. all my friends had played halo 2 for a while and so when they got halo 3 they leveled up in a second. I hadnt played halo 2 so I had to learn how to play online first, and it messed up my leveling a lot. Ive been stuck in the 20-25 skill range for over 300 games. In many of my games ive been mvp and I do better then most on my team the majority of the time. the only reason I wont get a new account is because I allready have played around 1000 games so if I ditched that I would lose exp, acheivements, and my campain progress. In my opinon this is one of the biggest problems w/ the trueskill system (its still a good system).
