How much time has passed between Halo:ce and Halo 3?
i was just wondering how long this human covie war has been going on also i have not read the books so i dont know if it says how long the war is in the books

Halo; Combat Evolved takes place in August 2552 and the last date mentioned in Halo: Ghosts of Onyx is November 4th, 2552.

Halo CE: 4 maybe 5 days Between Halo CE and Halo 2: Between 1-2 weels Halo 2: 3-4 days Between Halo 2 and Halo 3: Probably 2 or 3 days but not yet known Halo 3: N/A And the whole was has been going on for just over 27 years

Halo started on September 19th (Time dilated) Ended on September 23rd (Time dilated) Really ended on September 14th (Forerunner crystal) Halo 2 started on October 20th (Openning cinematic) John nears Earth on November 4th (GoO)

Its really only 4-5 months between Halo:CE and Halo 2. Probably even less between Halo 2 and Halo 3. I'd say overall the games span less than a year.

the war between humans and the covenant have been going on long before Halo: CE. 2525 (in the The Fall of Reach) is the first mention of covenant and the book ends where Halo:CE starts, according to the book thats 2552. in The Ghosts of Onyx, it all takes place in 2552. so i'm assuming Halo 3 will start in 2552. EDIT: sorry, that's 27 years. [Edited on 07.15.2007 9:51 PM PDT]
