I want this, but I refuse to buy it if does not have the new 65nm chips. I hope this isn't Microsoft's new strategy to dump off the rest of it's stock of defective components like the elite was. Everyone in the know should be waiting for revised systems. I can only hope that this model will be the introduction of that revised smaller chip system, and the included HDMI gives me that hope, because I think that all the new systems will eventually ship with this.

how much extra will this cost im going to pay more money for something that is the same thing as what i have just a green paint with halo 3 on it. Or at least come out witha kit to take apart your 360 and have a all around faceplate kind of thing. Same with the awesome hard drive.

yes, yes, yes, all sweet and cool. but what about us loyal microsoft, and bungie gamers who went out the first day the 360 was out and dropped 400 dollars on an assumption that this console was the most badass.(granted it was)but un-benounced to us that our sweet system would soon be out classed by a knight in not so shiney armor called a 360 elite. which came out later for all the slackers who didnt have any faith in microsoft, what the hell is this! now the true followers have been out classed by those too un-faithful to know that this system is the best! plus, to add insult to injury a new, and yet again bigger, better 360 is born for the retarted few, who by this point are selling their used 600 dollar foot rest(ps3 for those of you too stupid to get the metaphor) and getting a better system than all of us. for shame! for shame. it is a dark day when the loyal follower has been shat on and ushered aside in exchange for a sony fanboy who reluctantly turned in his ps3 console and got a superior system made by microsoft and the xbox team.

I think it is a really awesome design. I would just like to know the details of obtaining one. If you will be able to reserve it. Then we will have a flock of us fanboys rolling to gamestop in no time. And you can all stop whining about the hard drive since you can only have 100 films and 50 screenshots to keep the Bungie community from exploding with noobs recording their first kill and sending it to every poor sucker who opens his messages. I'm looking forward to september when this unit will be available. I've had a copy of Legendary edition reserved since last year and I still have yet to purchase a 360 so I'm glad I held off. I saw somebody comment and it's a good idea for them to make more controllers in the H3 style so as to have a complete set. Great job bungie on having another great idea and then letting us flap in the wind on how to get our hands on one. P.S. El Panel0n is a moron [Edited on 07.16.2007 1:25 AM PDT]

while the console itself looks badass..it's just frustrating that microsoft is milking the console and offering exclusive content on it, sort of like content for first time 360 owners & stuff..why couldn't have have offered the content on marketplace & just made a skin for the 360? come ON! we're smarter than that...

[/quote] Well according to my friend some stores will let u trade in your xbox and buy this one and pay the difference, then u transfer everything on your old xbox with a memory card. But i also wanted to know if i could just get a "skin" of this xbox that i could put on my old 360? (one that pops on like the faceplates they sell)
