You don't want to burn all your calories at the end of the day. Otherwise you'll be in the negative. A normal healthy functioning diet has calories remaining after the day's work, just not 1000s of extra calories.

I just noticed that I have 600 left for today. Too much? I haven't exercised today, but being quite the fat -blam!- my daily limit is actually 2020 to lose a pound a week.

Edited by westpointusma15: 1/20/2013 1:44:42 AMIt all depends on your height, weight, exercise per week, intensity of exercise, etc. But I would not go below 600 leftover calories per day The most important aspect of staying healthy and maintaining a healthy weight is to consciously limit your unhealthy food, avoid binge eating, and eat 4-5 smaller meals spaced throughout the day (as opposed to three big meals in a day), and no eating after 7PM
