Hi Folks. I've updated the theme page with an alternate Free install via Multi-Patcher. So you don't need TuneUp Utilities. We just recommend it. Multi-Patcher can be downloaded from [url=http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?showtopic=8767]here[/url]. It just patches your uxtheme.dll file to allow XP to load un-signed themes and visual styles. Then just unzip the Halo 3 theme into your C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder and then double-click the .theme file there to load it up. We've been around since 2001 (Google for XP Themes) and all files on my site are virus, adware and spyware free. Cheers!

Hi, I am a noob at this desktook thingy, has anyone got the background image only? or a very very simple way for a very very simple man to put this theme on my comp? I'm running Windows XP home edition, if you can't thats fine, I was just wondering.

Its pretty cool. I tried it, looked it over, messed around with it. Its safe the way it is. Ive used tune up, and tune always wants you to buy it. just google (how to run un asigned themes) or something, theres tutorials. I did it because i was tired of messing with xptheme and all those other "Pay for it" programs when all i want is it to look different. Its safe, easy to do, and it runs better than using 3rd party. I cant tell you how to do it, or where to go specifially, so google is your friend.(ps, its always reversable if you create a backup, no worries) ps, im not running vista. it just looks like it. They are obviously a third party, and I have no idea if they are credible and that it will not give my system a virus. I have never heard of this site and therefore I say, no thanks. Yes, but it involves swapping out a windows file. i cant say any more but do some googling. Ill see if i can load it without tune up. Yep, it works without it if you know how. [Edited on 06.24.2007 8:45 AM PDT]
