The Gravemind wasn't killed. He even says at the end of Halo 3 that he won't be killed, only delayed. And nor was it all Flood in the galaxy, just the Flood of High Charity.[/quote]
He tried rebuilding himself on New Installation 04. New Installation 04 broke apart. I think he meant he can be rebuilt even after this, not that he'd survive the destruction. (Unless you count being reborn as surviving, of course.)[/quote]
Yeah, basically that's how I see it. Dead, for me, is dead and can't come back. I see Gravy's situation as being dormant.
