How do we make Reach cool again?

Like it was prior to it's release when everyone still had high hopes for the game!? I don't think it was the game that lost it's fans, it was the fans that lost the game... with the negativity and all that. Alright now... we need to make a handful of viral videos featuring Reach as the center focus! The only question left is if there are any original and worth-while ideas that could possibly accomplish this; montages, slender man skits, obnoxious freakouts, music videos- something completely new altogether? You must have faith, you must remember- Reach.

So the fans killed the game ... not bungie ... How does that work. Are bungie not expected to make games that (fans and others) actually like to play? Did bungie not listen to the beta feedback (ok, the answer is no)? How far does this idea extend? If bungie pooped in a bag, put it on your doorstep, would you claim to like/love it? Could it be that bungie knew that this was the last game, that they would need to compete against the halo series (if they ever get another game out) ... and to kill the game off would be the only smart move?
