I'm sure that everyone who actually earned Recon in the past isn't happy about it either because it's not special at all. I never got it, and even I can realize that you guys basically turned Recon into a joke. I'm all for having another set of armor as a reward, but you basically turned a grand reward into well... nothing now. Yeah it still has to be "Earned", but still.
