Bungie Weekly Update
We have a nice, fat update today, with lots of Halo 2 and Halo 3 stuff for you, including some interesting new art.

Nice update. i hope they implement a custom control scheme where you can put anything u want anywhere.

problem with Right Bumper being reload, board and action button is what if you want to reload when your next to a gate switch or would if you want to reload when your next to a vehicle and not jump in the seat. would if i wanted to reload instead of using the turret. their could potentially be huge problems with that and i am not willing to risk it so please make sure the normal button layout is there and make the "X button" used by the "D-Pad" this is how i would like the buttons d pad- up - should be secondary Team speak (tap twice for flashlight) down - should be x button right - should be reload secondary weapon left - should be secondary crouch (hit once and you stay crouched, hit again and you will stand back up) so annoying having to hold the left thumbstick down - for crouching, i mean for a few steps of crouching its fine but to walk around the entire base holding it down is kinda lame. a - jump x - reload (1 or both weapons) y change weapons/dual wield b - melee RB - switch grenade type/action button (use button) LB - Team speak LT - Throw grenade RT - fire weapon right thumbstick click - zoom left thumbstick click - crouch (hold down) edit: BTW i like 16 player halo. thanks for taking it away. oh well i wait for halo 3 then? or will it only have 6 vs 6 in matchmaking to? It is definitely likely that many more players would prefer large-scale games if the experience was better, such as if Bungie decided to use dedicated servers for large-scale games similar to Resistance.

Wait, dont you think it would be harder to press the talk button while someone is moving? It is great where it is in HALO 2 and if you were to keep this layout, what would you think would be the hand you touch the button with?

I have some ideas about those eyes in the background: Either they are Cortana's eyes(best bet) If you look at Francies pic of mr. chief at the bottom of the post he immitated the top pic. and put eyes 'and' a mouth, if you look at the face in the background you almost see a fox face? or maybe something else(i see a fox for some reason). Or there are Cortana's eyes and if you walk back a little and look at the pic, under Cortana's eyes to the right you see another pair of eyes( look eviil) Any other suggestions?

Pretty cool update! I wonder if one of the equipment options is to fire the stationary turret??? It certainly couldn't be considered a normal weapon. -Hyper

I believe that Frankie has stated that team talk would have a slight "static" ring to it, to make it more realistic. well, with that in place, make proximity chat clear and unaffected. thus, one could tell the difference between your buddy on the other side of the map vs. the camper behind that rock who's breathing heavily or has his music too loud. bam!
