Bungie Weekly Update
We have a nice, fat update today, with lots of Halo 2 and Halo 3 stuff for you, including some interesting new art.

Does anyone know where all the different pics are? Like vertical or horizontal pics and backgrounds for "Emotion?" They are not up in the wallpaper section yet....

Yep we can only wonder the 'equipment' the X button uses. Such as Jackal shields, bubble shields, trip mines, deploying a turret., or calling in air support.

*Sigh*Why do you do this to me Bungie? You're breakin my heart here! Once again with the pushing the god damn button to talk..No other games have that so why the hell are you doing this? Just use the damn D-Pad for a "Press Left for non-team chat, press right for team chat" it's not that hard! Ugh..

wow im surprised that no one even mentioned about splitscreen being available in the beta! this is perfect for me because im having a lot of ppl coming over and we are going to play halo 3 for a long long time. THANKS BUNGIE!!!

Can someone point me in the direction of the portrait and landscaped wallpapers. I cant find them in the updated wallpaper section. :(

Nice update love the new poster, The way Cortana's eye’s are looming in the background give it a really cool atmosphere, also really like how the sun is shining through the recage of the New Mombassa space tether and the general feeling of intense heat and that barren apocalyptic feel, the chief looks excellent to ! I’m impressed by the the way your taking the story visually, The advertising campaign for Halo 3 has all the drama and excitement you would expect to see when looking at a poster for a feature film (apologies if that sounded a little corny but it really is very good). very much looking foward to playing this game. RB to reload?! What the?! I'd deffinately prefer the normal X button to reload a pick up stuff. There better be a fully customizable button layout then, or at least an option the choose a layout like Halo 2. RB to reload.... omg, that is gonna be so hard to switch between the games and get used to the controls every single time I play. X to reload and pick up stuff! RB to board enemy vehicles is okay, cause then you can aim while boarding. that's the only good thing about the new button layout.

only info I got out of this update was that there will be 1 guest allowed in the beta. Other than that nothing new. Oh and the art. Weak.

If they do that second image as an actual poster -- with Cortana's eyes in it instead of Mister Chief's -- I'd buy it... I was gutted I couldn't get one of those Halo2 Launch posters that they put in colleges/universities; the one about not having lectures after November 9th!

even though this is only temporary controls and only for multiplayer...what will be the button for the flashlight in the h3 campaign?

I like all the new features and all but im really hoping for abit more customisability for the controls as ive always found B being Melee hard to aim with, specially when i lose track of the person after missing them. Oh and excellent day to choose for starting the Beta ... my birthday! WOOT!

Hmmm yea. Please tell us when we the people who cant download the maps will be able to. Plz Bungie? I still get the "insallation failed" error every time I attempt to download the maps. =( It just plain hurts.

It's a joke or what ??? Normaly the 11th may will be the great instant for bungie for to delivred a lot of information about H3 It's just a beta , why Bungie don't show something more spectacular ? Why Bungie don't show the real graphics about halo 3 with a simple image ? there are nothing , They always promises a great think about H3 but there are nothing weak up

Ahhh, I don' tlike the controller layout!. RB to reload? That will take me at least three hours to get down right, lol. Halo 3 will be awesome, Fall 2007.

That piece of art looks amazing Another thing, I don't think you should be able to press and button to talk, it's really annoying because other games don't have it. Also because it's the d-pad you will have to talk or walk. You could have it so when you press the d-pad you only talk to the people close to you, so it's the opposite from halo 2.
