For it you look at the part where they are talking bout the AR and the 2 blue spartans throw the nades the one further away has a spiker on his leg... This is much better for you see where the gun gets put rather then it just dissarearing into the cheif... I have watched the video 5 times and plan to watch it more.... But i can't wait to press X and see a trip mine pop infront of me -blaming- some noob in a warthog... But that brings me to think... Will the Ghost be destoryed by the trip mines.... for the leveative rather then putting pressure on the ground... The vidoe was awesum and i loved how many bodies there was on the ground... but i don't mind the huge close combat battles for they arn't that bad becasue you can just die and have killed 3 people and be like.... "thats was f**k'n nuts" P.S isn't the Sniper already Automatic for it can be fired repeatedly in quick shots? or does the chief just -blam!- it quickly...

In your defense, this appears to be a fairly obtuse piece of Latin to parse. In your translation, you describe both "is" and "quisnam" as objects of conquer, which would make them accusative. The Latin corresponding to what you translated would be "eum quemnam protero damno." "is" is a nominative singular masculine prounoun that means "he", or perhaps "that." However, it turns out that it often acts correlatively with prounouns like "quis," in which case, it could probably just mean "I." I'm the wrongestest person evar. Looks great Bungie. Sweet title of the doc. as well. Damn Latin gave me a headache.

So a few things need to be established as proven facts. The grav lift IS portable and deployable, evidence being that it exists in one instance of the map and not in another, and it wouldn't be something Bungie would allow to be turned on and off. Secondly, Frankie says we only saw 3 instances of equipment, which obviously implies that there are more. The turret IS detatchable from the warthog. The only dispute with that is whether one uses X for it or not. That raises the other dispute. Frankie says we saw three examples. If the turret IS included, then we saw the turret, grav lift, and shield. For the people that say they put some of it in the video on accident, that's absolutely retarded. The trip mine was flat out discussed, as was the shield, the clip of the turret was a timespan and focus such that ONLY the turret was focused on, and same with the grav lift, being that the camera and clip centered around the guy jumping straight onto the lift. The symbol some people are seeing on the left side of the HUD (0:53, 1:26) is the trip mine, obviously from 5:51. HERE is where speculation really comes into play, and where it is ultimately proven that the trip mine is NOT a grenade, which means the detatchable turret is NOT equipment used with X. At 5:01 and 5:29, the HUD indicates that the player has 0 spike grenades or 0 spike grenades and 0 plasmas, respectively. This means that if you have none of a certain type of grenade, the symbol is still there, which means there are only 3 types of grenades (thus far) and the trip mine IS equipment used with X, making the detatchable turret some other type of weapon used in some other way. At 3:01, the yellow player clearly jumps and grabs onto the top of the fence before being shot. You can tell the difference between a live player and a dead one, and it isn't until after his hands grab on and his feet assume a climbing position (hands on top railing, elbows bent, one leg higher trying to reach over) that he is killed. This might be the "cool, context-sensitive" function for the B button that Frankie mentioned a while ago in an update. At 6:16, anybody have a clue as to what the yellow balls being fired are? I'm sold, I was totaly not going to go to the midnight release after how badly H2 let me down in the long run but I think this is gonna kick its ass, specially after with the video u can look at the "BS" that happened to u and maybe it wont look like so much BS either that or there are going to be a -blam!- load of BS montages in which case the problem will be fixed soooo yeah ill be at that midnight release with mah best budds, i only wish i was a wealthy man and could afford the sexiest release version, but alas i am destined for only the 70 dollar one

"You should give us all a day or two to download the needed files, but not actually have the system turned on until it's time." Those were my thoughts exactly, it's kinda like what valve did by preloading halflife 2. but maybe make it available for more than just 1 or 2 days before, and then on the day maybe lets us download an a file to unlock it and that wont have to be like 1 GB, it could be like 2-15 megs. that way we wouldn't be able to do anything with it until it's supposed to be released even if some1 hacks it. The 4th map that they show kinda looks like a new "elongation" style map. The first one they showed also looks kinda like a cross btw/ headlong and the first level of halo 2 campaign where you are in new mombassa. [Edited on 04.10.2007 10:18 PM PDT]

At 3:27: 1. Nice little detail how the flag carrier picks his knee up as he jumps. 2. The blue spartan's shields seem to give out without reason, which must mean that his shields are actually recharching instead, and at a fast rate too. Quite possibly more quickly than the shields in Halo 2.
