Look at it this way: If Bungie's next game was going to be revealed tonight by anyone in any fashion, the optimal plan would be to continue to let the hype build to a breaking point when the trailer is suddenly shown and then the hype will burst through the roof. Where does telling lies or half truths get them? All it would do is reduce the build up, making the resulting explosion less powerful and far more confused. We'd be excited as hell for sure, but there would be that voice in the back of your head saying over the explosion "Why the hell did they say they weren't going to be there if they were showing their game?"[/quote] I would say the hype is extremely high for a game that has not even been announced yet.
