Bungie Weekly Update
In this weeks update, we concentrate almost exclusively on the new Halo 2 maps, announced this morning. Lots o' details inside!

hey for some reason when i went to the content download it wasn't there for me. i was just wondering if the new maps havn't come out yet or I just can't get them. please reply

these ar not bad maps but i was wondrin how much it will cost to buy the map pack also will the halo and h2 maps be aviliable in h3

I don't know about this whole situation. No. 1 these maps should be free! They're Halo 1 maps!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, but those designs are like 6 years old. No. 2 I saw an article on how these maps are to repay the loyal Halo fans for their devotion, which apparently is for sale for 4 dollars for two maps. I'd much rather have new content for maps than old remakes. (Just my opinion) Also, throw us a free map, or remake, for the whole Backwash debacle. Which you can't incorporate into Matchmaking because of the problems it caused on HDTV's. Personally I like the fact that they are going to put out the new maps. They definitely didn't have to, but when they put the maps out and insert them into the Matchmaking Playlist than people will have to purchase the maps just be able to play Matchmaking. Which is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I really don't think that you have a valid argument if you're going to tell me in response that they should be paid for these maps because it took man hours to create these maps. Again they are basically 6 year old maps with an upgrade. Oh and did I fail to mention that it is the flag ship software for the console selling hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue already since, that's right halo 2 is already 3 years old. Weak!

I read the colum and what i understood from it is that you need x-box live to get these maps. So what im asking is there going to be any way to get these maps at best buy or future shop for cash and if so how much money is it canadian because my dad wont hook up xbox live and it would suck if bungie let down all the people with out xbox live who are hard core gamers and want everthing to do with gameing A.K.A halo2....write back as soon as possible please. also when is it coming out i didnt see that in the fourm. WOW! . Hater , Haters ,Haters. My Mom always said , " If you don't have anything nice to say then STFU ! Quit complaining about $4 bucks seriously, !6 quarters, most of you are typing this on a thousand dollar machine, have a several hundred or more invested into a gaming system , accesories, games and have a monthly cell phone bill around $40 bucks. You obviously care about the Halo Universe and it's games because you religiously are visiting a website made by the games creators. Actions speak louder than words , if you don't want to pay - DON'T . Then they might make them free (sooner ), In this case I don't think Bungie or even Microsoft is getting your hard earned quarters but Certain Afinity, remember the company that's makin the maps ?!? I don't do my job for free ,so why should they. As far as making them available for original owners I say hats off that cool, more potential dead bodies. Well its about time you guys started listening to what your fans have wanted...but you are still rather late. Are these maps actually going to be like the other wastes of money and not be played...like Relic and the swamp level no one likes or really cares about?

Most likely after the Halo 2 maps "We expect some folks to migrate to the Beta for the full period it runs, and then return to H2 stuff for a few months after the Beta is over." -BUNGIE So it will go Halo 2 maps, then Halo 3 Beta some time later and then back to the halo 2 maps because the beta is for a limited time. I say hurry up Bungie, we are getting restless

Just go to a bank or building society from 18 yrs up and you can get Visa bank cards, i myself have three of these, just simple chip n pin cards thats all you need

Sweet about the maps... But I'm confused. I don't have a credit card (I did but I have no will power :P) and I live in the UK. So far I can't find any info on these 'pre-paid visa cards' If anyone could please let me know where I can get one in the UK I would be really thankfull. Cheers.
