SOLVED *Findings Regarding -x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing 2.0

Scroll down for updates. This is now a Theories forum regarding the x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing code found in the latest vehicle update. Heres mine. Feel free to leave yours also! Well as you can imagine, its hard enough to figure out x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing but even harder when half the words could be changed into other things, Such as, " Auth" could be, Authorized, or authentic, or, 713, Could be numerical to alphabetical coding For each Number being equivalent to a equal number in the alphabet 713=GAC.ghost.GAC? , doesn't make sense, but there are a ton of more things to go through,Now this post wont be as much use for a couple hours as I slave de-coding this to the best of my ability. Lets Begin x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing First of all, adding this to the browser, will do nothing. Nice try kids! haha, jk. The last section is easy, activity-on-going, Now yes, easy to find out.. duh, but not necessary what it seams, to find out what particular value this has, we must find the first part of the code. x.xx Google: x.xx= Bunch of crap. lets skip the search engines, x.xx Broke down could mean, x=HaloCE .xx Halo 2. or in old style Roman language, x.xx means an unknown Day of the week, to the corresponding day of month, Such as 1st week-day," Sunday" to the 12th day.(Now known as, Sunday the 12th) The most confusing part is the 713, which in away supports my -day of the week- to - 7 being Saturday, 13th But, in the month of April The 13th day of the month is a Friday not a Saturday. of course I might be totally wrong, and i think i personally am, but someone has to try, What else can 713 mean.. hmm well 7 is bungies favorite number, ok:Note:: Halo CE was announced about 7 years ago at E3 For Mac, then later joined with Microsoft Gaming Division(now MGS). So what can 13 mean. Lets skip, and come back to that, Now the word ghost randomly appears in the code. x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing Does this mean, the Vehicle, or a ghost of some person/thing. I think, it might mean 1 of a couple things The next Vehicle with " activity on going " is a ghost to be described(next update) The ghost of an important Person to do with the halo plot line died in accordance with this number Or to decode the first set of numerals can help with this. Curse you bungie. Curse, You. Love you!<3. What else. well until the numerics, and the x.xx is figured out, we are left clue less, Maybe its just there to make things good, and to get our engines spinning, NOT. This is bungie. K Lets see, after a long while sitting on my ass, going over all the 7 possibilities, i got this. 7 months to ship. till the ONE, Three. 7 months to the one and only Halo Three(march,April, may, June, July, august, Sept) Now this kind of makes the," non-authorized bit more explainable On the launch of game, the point of it is to,well save the earth I'm pretty sure ugly ass covenant taking over the world is " non-auth activity on going" Don't you? So lets put this all together from this ugly mess seven months to the ship of the one and only halo 3,ghost.(to be looked at, haven't figured it out) Non authorized activity on going on Earth x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing UPDATE After some research it has come to my attention that "Ghost" might also have something to do with the Ghosts of Onyx, the dead forerunners some how alive in order to activate the ark. if this is right that means the new Code means Seven months to ship of the one and only halo 3, Ghosts of onyx. Non-auth- activity on going on earth. But theres more, After also researching the number 713, we have found it to be all about colonies and countries being over run and taken over, if this is true, that means the new code might be something like this.(713 will be exchanged for the word over run) Over run, Ghost of onyx, Over run, non-auth activity on going on earth Seems more like a telegram to me, and we know Bungie has used those before in those games. ================================================================= After the awful April fools prank yesterday I think we all know now we can break down the code. First, thanks to some very nice people in these forums we think that the x.xx when mixed with 7.13 becomes a multiplication question which answer is 91, which ends up being April 1st, yesterday. Second give away, " non-authorized activity on going" in the code has a very strong refference with Bungie news story ( that disapeared) yesterday So thank you bungie. We busted everything for this code, we thought it ment somthing. But nooo. haha. Thank you to everyone who participated. Unless that im wrong and the code still has some meaning then lets continue, but it makes sense if you look at the facts. April 1st+Joke story about corporate nonauthorized activity= x.xx.713.ghost.713/non-auth/activityongoing O, and for the ghost part, im guessing its the ghost of one of the pimps at sea haha, we all know pirates have ghosts! • For the love of God, don't you see it in front of your faces!? The technology isnt even EXPLAINED! The video containing interviews with two guys has text that says "All truths begin as BLASPHEMIES."!!!! That COULD be related to Halo 3, in fact that sets off alarms in my head just thinking about it. The article I posted in italics earlier links up to the launch of the Beta selection program for Halo 3 all the way up to its release! and TTR, you sound an awful lot like the pessemistic voices in the forums of that very website, who all take the same outlook upon it as you do. Im beginning to think you may just be from the site, but im going to set that aside. The pictures at the top aren't even RELEVANT to the technology, because with the ammount of research i've done on it, theres not even proof that plants are involved! ORBO!? HALO!? Same number of letters. Same last letter. For all we know, ORBO could be the codeword for EARTH, in HALO 3, considering that the planet we live on is an ORB, and has a gigantic impact in Halo 3 itself. Just because you've known of the companies existence since August 2006, doesn't mean Microsoft can't buy them out, tell them to keep doing what they're doing, and they'll piggy-back their site with clues! The evidence is to large to be avoided, and too suspicious to be coined as "pointless." I mean listen to the great websites! teamxbox.com! evilavatar.com! THEY ALL THINK THIS IS IT!

 • Steorn isn't the viral campaign I've known about them for awhile now as a matter of fact since August. It may not even be what we are thinking. Everyone is looking for another ILB but it could end up being totally different.

 • I bet that it either means absolutely nothing and the folks at Bungie are laughing their freakin heads of at every1 frantically trying to pull answers out of their asses, OR its some super secret code that has a great deal of meaning that we will never figure out. the 713 could be the hours till the Halo 3 Beta. 713 hours is lmost 30 days. i doubt it though. •
Posted by: Lurker_77 I just had an idea that has probably already been posted, but o well, here it is. I think the 713 means 7 months and 13 days left until the release of Halo 3. The Warthog article was released on March 26, so 7 months and 13 days later would be Thursday November 8th. What do you guys think? Could this be the release date of Halo 3?
very possible. games are usually released on tuesdays, as were halo 1 and 2, but they could change things up a bit.

 • That's actually a very, very plausable theory. I like that. At first, I thought it may refer to the release date of the Halo 3 beta, but July 13 seems far too late. Your idea is really good. I think a confirming test will be if the next thing they release like the warthog bit has another number. If that leads to the same date, then your theory will be confirmed. • OUTthaWAZOO2: I'm really not concerned. I initially figured I could help out by saving them the time and energy of searching where there is no solution. And regarding it being my business, I disagree. When someone gets on an open forum and posts a message to EVERYONE that something is a solution, and it clearly isn't, I fall under the category of "everyone" and am perfectly justified in responding to the person. So it is my business. I wanted an answer, and what i got was a load of crap from someone convinced it was gold. Don't worry, though, I'm done here. I had hoped people could be a little more reasonable and less desperately illogical in the search for an answer.

 • Oh good grief. Regarding the last "quote" of yours, why don't you look at the parts following that. Then, why don't you look at the rest of the article. Then, go ahead and look at the interviews. Like I said, this is a very real company that has been around for a long time. Viral ad campaigns are not found completely by accident and usually have SOMETHING to do with the actual game or its universe. You are flat wrong in assuming that the reporter had it as a theory. It just happens to follow that sentence and is used to illustrate a point, like I said earlier. (And do you really think a reporter would have a question like that in August of 2006?) If you watch the interviews, you see that the technology isn't explained, isn't proven, but was found by accident. While I respect the concept and practice of brainstorming, doing so on the subject of Steorn with respect the current topic is a completely fruitless endeavor. I'm not going to continue making any stronger of a point. There's a huge difference between approaching things with an open mind and desperately grabbing anything that could possibly be a solution. This is not the solution. This is dumb. If it is a Bungie viral ad campaign, which I swear to you it isn't, it is the worst viral ad campaign ever concieved. Drop it and move on to something else. This is just dumb.

 • TTR- why are you so concerned about the people in this thread are doing? what does it matter to you that they think they found something on that site and are looking for clues? let them do what they want, it's none of your business.

 • Or we just look at things with an open mind? We are in this thread trying to resolve the meaning behind "x.xx.713.ghost > 713/non-auth/activity ongoing". Regardless of how dumb you think I may be or the people that are trying to figure this out for suggesting this as a possibility, this is brainstorming. None of us are saying that it IS, but we are saying that it is POSSIBLE, like much of the rest of the content in this thread. We have to face that facts that all of us are getting this information off the Internet and there is plenty of room to make up information there, which could or could not be the case regarding Steorn. One of the threads I found on the Internet states that this level of advertising may be beyond Bungie, but not Microsoft. We just don't know what is planned, and what is possible. I understand the concept they are talking about, and could understand the problems than Steorn is having getting people to believe it, but that doesn't change anything regarding to our theories about the company. They don't even say what kind of energy it is. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that a company who's "corporate history is in detecting and preventing high-tech fraud" would have a large enough research budget to develop a system advanced enough to violate the three laws of thermodynamics, further supporting our theory. Rereading what was said in the article, "I had some theories flatly denied and others half-confirmed. It is not a teaser for an Xbox game". This means that the reporter had this as a theory, and it was denied. So yes, that would suggest the question was asked, because I don't know how else the reporter could have had the theory denied (unless the CEO said that which would be even more suspicious.)

 • The article was written back in August of last year. It sites an actual interview with a real person about a real technology. The context in which the "Xbox game" reference came up is the following: "So what on earth are they playing at? In a long and very impassioned phone call with Steorn's chief executive Sean McCarthy, I had some theories flatly denied and others half-confirmed. It is not a teaser for an Xbox game It is nothing to do with a TV programme It has nothing to do with promoting anti-fraud systems (Steorn's corporate history is in detecting and preventing high-tech fraud), which was my personal favourite. The official story — and one they are at pains to emphasise — is that the idea of convening a panel of 12 top scientists to do secret tests is the best way they can think of to get their ideas accepted by the scientific community. Time after time, McCarthy said, they'd tried to get people to look at what they were doing, but nobody was prepared do so. Those who did refused to go on the record" The phrase was used to illustrate a point, not to talk about an actual question that was asked or why. Use your brain here. The fact that Bungie has been working on Halo 3 longer than I've known about this company means absolutely nothing. The fact still remains that this is a real company run by real people. That is not a VIRAL AD CAMPAIGN. I mean, are you serious? How could you possibly shut your brain off, ignore the facts, and run with such an insane idea? Next thing I know, you'll be accusing me of working for bungie and trying to hide an unfinished viral ad campaign. This is ludicrous. Grow up. Why don't you actually read the article, do some homework, watch the interviews, and then turn your brain back on to make a decision? Because what you're doing right now is definitely, and I mean DEFINITELY not working out to your advantage. This whole Steorn "viral ad campaign" is just plain silly and you guys need to realize that before you embarass yourselves.

 •
Posted by: TTR NAGA STEORN IS NOT THE VIRAL CAMPAIGN Steorn has been around for a while. They are a real company that is actually completely unrelated to Bungie or the Halo series. Go check the hundreds of videos on youtube with real news interviews and various other informational bits. This is nothing new, and the only reason I'm taking time to clear this up is because I remember seeing Steorn on the news last year. I'm sorry to rain on the parade, but this is completely unrelated, guys. Fox Interview with Neil Cavuto: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV4Ja5Cjtvc
http://archives.tcm.ie/businesspost/2006/03/26/story12884.asp (Orbo... Steorn's main product... same location...) Also, on this link: http://opinion.zdnet.co.uk/comment/0,1000002138,39281444-1,00.htm (August 2006) They say "It is not a teaser for an Xbox game". Why would they even ask that question? And hearing of them last year is exactly proof of anything. Bungie has been working on Halo 3 for longer than that. Lastly... even claiming that you can make infinite energy for free would make international news... immediately. (Not to mention you'd likely be killed by oil companies, but whatever.) • Snap017, Are you serious? Too suspicious? You are so hell-bent on finding a solution that you've just picked one that makes you happy and run with it. Steorn is so obviously NOT the viral ad campaign, it baffles me to think that someone could be so convinced otherwise. Look, the company has been around for a while now. I heard of them through the internet and television way back last year. There have been official news interviews on television. In case you missed the link I provided, that was one. Just do a search on google and on youtube. You'll find all kinds of information relating to their site and what they really are. They are completely NOT a concoction of any Bungie-affiliated endeavor and you'd have to be dumb to continue thinking they are. It looks to me like you're desperate to have your name attached to this "discovery". It's too bad it's not a discovery. Stop being so desperate and be a little more realistic. Be rational. All the facts add up to you and your idea being completely wrong. I'm sorry I have to be so blunt, but this needs to stop, now. For the last time, Steorn has been around for a long time. I heard of them before you did - last year. I've been loosely following their activity for a while, and they clearly, completely, and totally have absolutely nothing to do with any viral ad campaign. None. You don't find it odd that you noticed the wikipedia article, other documentation, and the very professionally done website and automatically assumed that it was a viral ad campaign for a video game and not simply what it was claiming to be? It adds up to you being desperate and this being nothing but a mistake on your part. [Edited on 04.01.2007 6:11 PM PDT]
