Star Wars Battlefront 3 Was 99% Finished

Might be old news to some of you. Anyway according to Steve Elis the games was 99% finshed but as we all no it still got scraped due to financial problems. But realy at 99% , what the hell were LucasArt thinking about? Oh well at least we got Kinect Star Wars.
"We had a 99% finished game that just needed bug fixing for release. It should have been our most successful game, but it was cancelled for financial reasons. I'm happy that people did at least get to see what we were working on and share the team's enthusiasm for it.
http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1701703/free_radical_battlefront_3_was_99_percent_finished.html [Edited on 11.30.2012 7:28 AM PST]

 •
Posted by: Hylebos I'm certain that you guys will eventually get your Battlefront III around Starwars VII. I'm sure that like Battlefront II, it will exist to sell copies of the movie, and will feature all sorts of whimsical locations from the movie which make for terrible levels. "Oh hey, we have about 15 seconds of footage from Felucia in Episode III, LET'S MAKE A LEVEL AROUND IT!" Meanwhile the core gameplay that made the original so good will be pushed to the side in favor of large space battles and giving players the abillity to run around as overpowered Jedis cutting through the ranks. Yes, you will get your Battlefront III one way or another, but be careful what you wish for.
I can see it now. Killstreaks, custom loadouts, Aim down sights, etc.
