Longsword - Fighter or Bomber?
I've been wondering this for quite awhile and was hoping anybody could answer this question. I've read in many places that the Longsword is a fighter, and I've read in other places that it is a Bomber. Could someone in the know please clarify this?

The only thing I want is to FLY ONE.

The F-117 is a stealth bomber with a fighter designation. They gave it a fighter designation because it flys like a fighter and therefore they needed fighter pilots to fly it not bomber pilots. The fighter pilots were very proud about being fighter pilots and didn't want to be confused with bomber pilots so, just to make them happy they designated it the F-117 fighter. The longsword is a fighter/bomber because it can both fight, and bomb so there you go. Plus like he said ^^ it's in the future so anything could happen.

The longsword has atleast a fitghter and a bomber version, but for atmosphere use there might be a mixture. btw the f-117 is a fighter bomber, it's not just a bomber. [Edited on 9/20/2004 10:49:03 AM]

But the F-117A is called the stealth [i]fighter[/i] even though it isn't a fighter at all, it is a light bomber. We think the Longsword is also a bomber, but called a fighter for unknown reasons.

There is Three category of Military Aircraft: -Bomber =Heavy Aircraft and Bomb and only Ground Attack -Attack = Medium Aircraft and weapon Ground/Air attack -Fighter = Light Aircraft and wepon Air/Ground attack Longsword is Attack Aircraft, Space and Atmosphere combat!

Size isn't a restriction, especially when it's supposed to be able to fly(?) in space
