•
Posted by: th3 Muffin Mann Wow, way to bash bungie. Would you tell us all how the letter that was posted was not professional? (don't worry bungie, nobody in the real-world thinks less of you). It was sincere and to the point that Microsoft pulled the announcement, which doesn't take away from Bungie's credibility. If you don't like the way Bungie does stuff, well... stop playing halo. It is that easy. Everybody sensible in the world understands that they should be bashing on Microsoft for pulling the plug on the announcement - Bungie is just as disappointed at what happened.
Wow. In the real world you're still an idiot. If you'd bothered to actually read what I wrote, you'd have seen that I said everyone handled the situation poorly (that means both Bungie and Microsoft). Also WTF does anything I wrote have to do with playing Halo? As for your wanting to know how the letter wasn't professional, see if you can wrap your feeble mind around this. In the ''real world'' you don't throw your business partners under the bus. I don't care if Microsoft did pull Bungie's announcement at the last minute. There is a word you obviously have never heard of, it's called LOYALTY. Yeah Bungie can be butt-hurt and they can complain to Microsoft about it, but to do it publicly was stupid. Here is a news-flash for you; It was Microsoft's press event and it's their platform, that means they get to decide what they want to show. You didn't hear Msoft bashing Bungie did you? Think they were pissed-off at the post? Probably. The fact of the matter is that no matter what differences the two companies may have, they have both been immensely beneficial to each other. Halo:CE helped put XBox on the map, but Msoft also helped establish Bungie as one of if not the premier game company today. To say that Bungie should be bashing Msoft has got to be one of the most ignorant comments I have ever heard. Let me ask you this? Do you play Halo 3? What system do you play it on? If you are a fan of the 360, you should be pretty -blam!- disturbed by what went down. So please muffin man, stop when you hear the pop. Bungie, I will say again, you should hold yourselves to higher standards than that. If getting pats on the back from idiots like muffin man give you any sense of right out of this, then good luck on the road ahead cuz karma is a b!t@#. The part I don't understand the most is that Msoft just gave Bungie their independence back. I wasn't in the room when the deal went down, but I'm pretty sure that was very benificial to Bungie and that Msoft didn't have to do it. Bungie is free to spread their wings and control their own future now. They are an industry giant and they have great power in that industry, but again the old axiom... With great power...
