I'm incredibly sad Greg Bear's Forerunner Saga draws to a close next year, it's by far the best thing to happen to the Halo universe IMO. Can't wait to see how everything links together and sets up the next Halo.

What happened to the other one?
The story had to be re-written as 343 went a different way with the plot for the game. Which is leaving us all entirely confused.
Man, that's got to suck for the author. Mr.Bear: "I'm finally done the book! Now it's time to relax..." 343 Industries: "NO! YOU HAVE TO WRITE IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!" Mr.Bear: *cries*
That's not true, unless grey can give a source, I'm just going to assume that he is jumping to conclusions due to the new cover.
Um, This is coming from the game seeing as it doesn't fit in with the novels. Notice how the silentium description about The Didact being left in a flood infected system magically disappeared after halo 4?
