Special Q&A Today!
For this week's update, Frankie and I are going to take questions from the field and answer them online in a psuedo real-time chat format using the Bungie.net forums. Things are bound to get a little hectic but we think it will be fun.
The first thing we need people to do is ask questions! You can do that in the news forum - easily accessible by clicking the "discuss this story" link at the bottom of this page.
Before you ask your questions, keep these points in mind:
1. NO QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMPAIGN or the STORY! (we won't even acknowledge these questions)
2. Don't spam and ruin this for everyone. We'll be banning people.
3. Questions about life inside Bungie, the final crunch, Alta's haircut, the Beta, etc.. are all fair game.

We'll hang out for an hour or so and have some fun. =)

(1) How many vehicles are there going to be in multiplayer like different hogs and/or human vehicles {air-craft}? (2) Will there be a disc/download for a map editor for mp/Live? (3) Will there be downloadable characters for mp {grunts jakals odst "helljumpers" marine/sargent aj hunters brutes ect.}? (4) Will downloadable maps be free or $$? (5) Will the bonus dvd have map editor new/old maps or somthing to that effect? (6) Does any of the Bungie crew have a Parakeet budgie and if you do is it green and yellow? (7) In mp can you have a sword and 1 smg or dual whaeld-able weapon for other hand? Thanks for your time Bungie/Frankie/Sketch and i apollagize for inncorect spelling because i suck at spelling.

Since vehicles are a major part of Halo gameplay and both Covenant and Human vehicles have counterparts to one-another.....(Ground Assault: Warthog/Ghost, Heavy Assault: Scorpion/Wraith, Air Transport: Pelican/Phantom....)....why not include the Longsword in multiplayer as well as the Banshee? I am taking an educated guess/assumption that the Longsword isn't pilotable at all in the entire game(You don't have to comment on that part). Also, why no Phantoms & Pelicans in multiplayer(another educated assumption)? That would add another major level to team strategy. I'm sure these ideas had been brought up at least once. What would be a feasable argument(other than time constraints)? Also, I heard that Scorpion controls have been worked on recently. Can you comment on that? Can the Scorpion strafe now? Also, what has been decided on the Wraith's targeting? Is it all guesswork with those plasma mortars or is there a cursor that runs the landscape that denotes trajectory & targeting? I appreciate your hard work and devotion. It will all be worth it on November 9th when you guys will TRUELY appreciated! Keep up the promising work and good luck! -Chad

This Question is about the Shield/Healthbar. Will you only be able to see you Shield Bar, and only guess you health. I was reading a few beta reviews and some of them said the you health will recharge with your shields. Others said the you health will slowly recharge after you shields are up, with the addtion of not being able to see you health status they said it will make a more for more intense fighting. Any way THANK YOU for listening.

Ok here is my Question's If there is any extra weapon's or vehicle's for mutiplayer i just would like to know how many more there is? How many map's will be in the game for mutiplayer in total? Will Bungie be playing online with the public? Will Bungie be making tournement's/map's or skin's in the future? If you answer any of these question's then Tack själv.

Will you tell me the name of the No Name (Banshee Equivelant ) and if it is still in the game. 3. Is shrindon on Halo Forums a staff member / on the inside of the halo 2 operation? 4. What are you planning on doing after halo 2 is done? 5. What exactly do you mean when you say ewaks? 6. Do you like questionitive young minds?

How much percentage wise (not including the single player campaign) are you keeping from us? it's just a question, cuz as it is, it occupies every moment of thought... also, how long do you think it's going to take to read all of this? My name Is Combo on Halo and the reason is I get Alot of Combos example. Ill jump from the air melee a guy turn around and throw a gernade where two guys are and spray them with the assault rifle. 3 hit COMBO! Will there be anyhting cool like that in the game?

i noticed that in one of the screen shots of the hud the shield indicator is by the radar but no health bars. wuts the deal?

1. How will he reload to SMGs without putting one down or setting it aside. People have said that in the beta you can fire one and reload the other. How would he reload two guns while firing other. 2. Sorry for putting this but if bots are not making the game then will there be bots made as downloadable content for live and OXM. 3. CAn you make your own emblems or do you have to choose from a group of pre made ones. 4. In OXM they saud there wouldn't be a map maker. If that is true will there be a mapmaker made as downloadable content for live and OXM.. 5. What is the biggest map in the game. 6. When you put up the list of sites for information from the beta, most of them talked about the see saw thing in Midship. How do you use this to get up tp the brute gun.

Thanks for the Q&A Session, even if you don't get around to mine. I intended to come in here to ask about Online Co-Op over LIVE, but I see that's already been done. So, I have just two other questions left. Currently, what is the estimate for total pre-orders? Lastly, without giving any details, what is the total number of new weapons we can expect come Nov. 9th?

i don't know if this was asked but i was wondering if with the banshee there will be both a mortar and regular plasma cannon along with the boost, and if so, what is that configuration? Thanks guys, you rock!
