Clantemplates.com
Ok, I need help with the basic HTML uploading stuff. I'm wondering, after you download the skin you want to use for your website, what do you do to upload it on your freewebs site? And also, would putting a new template on my site, thus replacing my default freewebs supported template, delete all our clan updates, section tabs, rosters, and written stuff? I sure hope not.
Yes, I watched the tutorial video, and I've searched Google, so don't be Captain Obvious. The tutorials, even in video format, is way too broad.

I never reallly use Clan Templates, or any HTML/CSS templates at all. They dispel the originality of your site. Just get some coding tutorials off Google and start from there :-)

They aren't templates like you are using on FreeWebs. Clan Templates uses raw HTML stuff, not WYSIWYG stuff. In other words, you can't use the templates unless you downgrade Freewebs to HTML only mode (non-reversible)...

If that is what you mean, screw it, I'm not writing a years worth of updates all over again. But then again, a lot of my clan members are requesting some new templates from clantemplates.com...sigh I'm lost...=(

Yes you edit the pages of the template and then FTP them to your site. You will replace whatever you have out there unless you make a link to it on the pages you edit.
