Vehicle Hijacking for Reach? Thoughts and/or predictions.

Well, what do you think? I always had a problem with how difficult it is to hijack in Halo 3 multiplayer(especially since you can't technically hijack the mongoose or warthog) and think hijacking should be easier against all land based vehicles. On the flip side of this, I think that there should be a way to defend yourself from the hijacker once you've been boarded. It adds more dynamic to game play and really takes advantage of the feature that was SO HYPED UP for Halo 2 and SO UNDER UTILIZED in Halo 2 and 3. Agree or disagree?

 •
Posted by: P3P5I Smart Banshee pilots and Warthog drivers don't go for the splatters.
I call BS on this. Sure, it's not a good idea to splatter in a warthog, but splattering in a banshee is so easy and efficient that there's no reason not to do it consistently. (Especially if someone just used the power drainer.) Because you can't board someone if they're boosting, there's no downside to attempting a splatter. In h2 you could dodge a splatter and board a banshee or ghost even if it's boosting, if you were skilled enough to time the jump and the board press. In h3, even if you dodge or the banshee misses, you won't be able to board. You just have to try and get to cover before the banshee comes down and tries again. (or just gives up and banshee bombs you.)
