I think they shouldnt do that, to make it way more epic they should include the legendary cutscene where Noble 6 arrives home and you see master chief as his son. You guys remember Gravemind? In the mission to save cortana, he says this,"Child of my enemy, why have you come? I offer no forgiveness for father's sins cast to his son." So this means Gravemind fought against Master Chief's father. So they could show Noble 6 at Chiefs "Funeral" placeing flowers and saying something epic like "To my son, greatest hero of mankind."
