Bungie has confirmed that they will implement a MLG gametype option in custom games. Now while it will either start as v8 or maybe v9, the playlist will automatically update when you put Halo Reach in. Rather then have to go download every map and gametype, the game will do it for you. Plus as an added bonus they will not go towards the larger limit of custom in-game content. + Bungie is 90% sure they will have the BR in Halo Reach. Depending on whether they have room for it that is, Bungie is more concentrated on making the game look better then worrying about actual gameplay. They're not sure whether they will have the BR in matchmaking other then MLG but it will be an option in custom games and forge mode. Bungie said "Why not? The players love it, so why not give it to them. As one of the most popular Halo 3 weapons, it would be ridiculous to leave it out. Final decisions on the weapon are yet to be decided".
