I found 343's inspiration for the Halo 4 sangheili.
[url=http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/1/19836/448916-arbiter.jpg]Here.[/url] Okay, so it may not [i]officially[/i] be the inspiration, but the mandibles in this picture look practically identical to the one's on Halo 4's sangheili. It's probably just a coincidence but still, I thought it was interesting.

They dont look even remotely similar. The elite armor in halo 4 changed. Their mandibles didnt change all that much. And they are in no way as pointy or tooth-jaggety as the elite in that image. Fail.
