I cheated on my gf... with my step-sister
My mother called me and told me that I should visit her in order to meet the guy she was marrying. He was a nice guy, pretty smart, good job. He also invited his only daughter.
We had dinner together, went to watch the Hobbit (god damn, it was three -blam!- hours) and then we watched some TV and talked and met each other.
My mom and her bf went out to get something to eat for tomorrow, and I started talking to my to-be step-sister. Comes out we both liked each other and started flirting, until we got it on.
I was planning on proposing my gf to marry, we've been going out for 4 years. I feel terrible.
What should I do? What I did, was it incest?

OP. Beyond cheating, you didn't do anything wrong. There's zero biological triggers to prevent what you did. As for telling her, you risk damaging the relationship and if you can swallow what you did and never do it again. It's for the best. There is such thing as a white lie.
