Halo 4 only won one award at VGA 2012.
This is disappointing. But whats even more disappointing is the GOTY. -blam!- Job VGA Council.
EDIT: Actually two. Best Graphics and Best 360 Title. But best 360 game is a given, so it really only won one award.

Is it just me, or do shields recharge at an excruciantingly slow rate? That's one of my biggest gripes about the game. It's quite annoying.

Why did you expect Halo 4 to win anything? It's a generic sci-fi shooter in an increasingly stale franchise. I mean, seriously, take a look at The Last of Us, or Watch_Dogs, or Remember Me. Those are games that fire the imagination. They're the future. Halo 4 is the past.

Don't worry, the VGAs are shocking evidence of how stupid "mainstream" gaming is... -They elected a giant interactive cutscene for GotY -Best graphics went to Halo 4... right, it's console best. If you want best graphics, I'd be expecting Guild Wars 2, Far Cry 3, or a serious graphical game. -Game of the Decade... hmm, right, a hype bases game. What a surprise.

Even though the VGA's don't really much much, what else did you expect it to win really? It's not the best game in every category and we all know that.
