Why do teens wear all black? I don't like you or your face.
What's with the young generation today? They all dress in black clothes. No, not the kind of black Johhny Cash wore, the kind of black that symbolizes goth, emo, or heavy metal. It's really a disgrace. You see tons of kids wearing black because they want to cry about themselves or think they're special because they think they're goth or rock hard in concerts. Hell, the term gothic is misued. Stupid. Such a stupid fashion sense. And all of these posers who defend against "rebelling against society" will eventually become a grunt in the work force weather you like or not.
Youngings today just want something to cry about, rage against, or follow a trend. But let's face it, there's nothing really to rage about, rebel against, unless you just want violence which most of you do. The fact of the matter is, most kids live in a quiet neighborhood, a non-war enviroment, a sweet little suburban town and you just create all this emo drama when there is nothing, that's when you all become suckas.
So, just sit in your seat and become nothing. Because you are all nothing. The place you're in is nothing You're all trash. All disgusting and confused. But you won't do what I say will you?
You'll rebel against me too because you want something more. You always want something destructive and dirty. I'll give you something. I'll give you trash, because that is you. You smell like it too.
Better yet, none of this matters. Go eat your fast food. You're dirty fast food that tastes soo good like ice cream. Go and eat that fatty fats fast food double burger. Taste good right? You're disgusting, you and your milkshakes and fake cheese and eggs. Disgusting. You're all disgusting.
Then there's people who give you those looks like they think they're better then everyone. Ohhhh look at that person! He's fat! Look at that person. He's a different color! BLAH BLAH BLAH. Go suck it. I'll shove that fat person down your ugly throat. You think you're sooo hot, your ugly. You're perfect for me to spit on because of your perfections. Trash. All of you.

Wow. I'm almost at a loss for words on this thread. Hate to say it, but I am 30+ years old. I come here because I grew up with video games and still play them as a form of stress release. Halo 2 being a big part of that. Guess what, I still wear black. All black. Sometimes with writing on the shirt, but all black. If I'm not in black I'm wearing a dark color. Not because I think it's cool, but because it's what I like. Would I consider myself goth? No. However, that could've been me in high school. I like the punk/goth look. Always have. Nothing to rebel against. Hmmm... authority is always something rebel against no matter how old you are. Prime examples. A lying government, parents, challenging teachers, any other authority that you don't agree with. Honestly this is the most pathetic thread I've seen. This "person" is a -blam- off and easily shows off their ignorance.

When were you born, the 1920s? A time when normal teenagers didn't "rebel against society" in one way or another? I am not an emo, goth, or any other kid who "overuses" black. I just believe your opinion is skewed. While our generation's method of rebellion is a bit unorthodox it is no different in intention than other forms of teenage rebellion. Seriously, if you are this concerned about this subject, you need to find a hobby. I believe my generation will turn out fine, for every generation has all kinds of people, normal included.

Almost no one in my school wears black. Sometimes I wear black, but not often. I just wear T-shirts and hoodies all the time, and the occasional prep shirt.

Wow old man. Complaining about how people act and wear. Well guess what, we see that back when you were young, all your hippy clothes were lame and dumb and stupid. Oh and I blame all the depression, poorness, war and fighting going on round the world. Though you said "ALL young people" Well I don't wear black. I wear jeans, a short sleeved top, with a long sleeve top underneath it, then a blue jacket over if its cold.

I wear black because I think it looks good. I am not trash, I am possibly the most intelligent person I've ever met. You seem to be very biased against "us". The only things I want to say in this thread are that your post is open flame against an entire subculture, and that you should try to look through our eyes before passing judgement on us...though I'll probably follow this discussion until the thread is locked for the sake of defending my friends, my comrades, that you have just insulted.
