Did a little research on Bravo's new job
343 Industries is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for creating and perfecting online multiplayer experiences. The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with an existing design and sustain team to help maintain and support Halo's existing multiplayer experiences, as well as the future implementation of new experiences. Additional responsibilities include hopper management and synthesizing community feedback and player data to inform gameplay recommendations. As a member of the Sustainment Team, you will get to interface with community members, designers, Franchise Management and test teams, so legendary communication and organizational skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sustainment Team to maintain multiplayer experiences by recommending optimizations based on community feedback and player data
- Work across several additional teams to ensure quality
- Provide regular formal and informal matchmaking updates to the community across multiple channels
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the community and its varied subsets
- Represent Halo and 343 at community and industry events
I don't even know who this guy is, and half the people here are worshiping him like he's some kind of God.

I was big into Mlg a few years back and lanned with bravo at the college. He was a great dude. I wish him the best. Hopefully he can bring competitive halo back.
That's legit man.

Who is Bravo?

There are casual gametypes within there but there is no 'casual matchmaking'. That would only happen when there is a distinct Ranked/Social separation. [Edited on 12.06.2012 8:51 PM PST]

-
Posted by: CrazzySnipe55 Really? What experience does he have in the field of game development or management?
That is not what the position requires. Read Chemical Envy's post
How could he possibly understand the casual perspective?
It's competitive multiplayer; there is no casual perspective. Even if he were given complete control of playlist settings (which he isn't), he wouldn't turn the game into "1 gun, 11 arena maps, BR starts". If you watch his content you'd see that he wants the game to favor all kinds of gamers and offer the most optimized settings. As another gentlemen said, he is pro-Halo, not just pro-MLG. You biased MLG haters are all so quick to jump to generalizations and stereotypes. He is not a playlist overlord. [Edited on 12.06.2012 8:50 PM PST]

I may not know, but apparently 343 knows, considering they hired him.
Posted by: CrazzySnipe55 Really? How do you know he has "legendary" communication and organizational skills? Because you saw him play MLG? ©
Because he is very concise and yet descriptive all at the same time in his vids, such as his loadouts one. Also, I doubt it would stop him if he wasn't a chatty person, but that's beside the point, which is that Bravo can help the multi become better. That's the end goal here, isn't it?

Bravo will certainly make minor changes such as ability to turn off instant spawns and sprint in Custom Games, but he probably will not be able to make major changes to MP yet.

Besides, Bravo easily has that covered, so it's not really a big deal.
Posted by: EnragedAUSTIN11 Well, I have watched his videos concerning the issues with Halo 4. Him and his team (aside from the former Lemon) had decent input and actually knew what the hell was going on. They didnt just dis everything new with the game and were actually quite attracted to the base gameplay. He knows that the game could be perfect with all the crap and bugs cut.
Which is why he's perfect for the job. He takes everyones perspective into account and how it affects the game overall. I think he'll do a great job at 343.
