I want to create and design modern furniture for the home. I want to push America out of the colonial style of interior design and make our homes sleek, elegant, and beautiful. Overall, I want to make low cost, but high quality environmentally friendly furnature. How can I do this?
Posted by: Wikked Navajoe
Posted by: Gaara444 I don't want to be THAT guy OP, but the only people who want those kinds of furniture are Edgy, College Teens majoring in Liberal Arts. Most people get old style furniture cause it serves a purpose other than looking trendy. If you notice, most of these new age furniture is rather small and complicated.
This entirely. Besides, OP, I would buy an old-fashioned recliner chair from you, upholstered with old-fashioned black leather and some soft fur on the arm rests. Why? Because they are awesome. Sell both styles.
Well I mean, I want a modern look with practicality. I don't want it to be complicated for people.

Assemble quantities of glass, wood, metal, and plastic into various shapes. Or buy -blam!- from IKEA and resell it on eBay for a higher price. [Edited on 12.04.2012 8:15 AM PST]
