Either remove or fix Killcams Allow a regular Infection mode, not just Flood. Beef up the vehicles damage resistance Make warthog turrets do more damage than a stapler More frequent weapon drops
Posted by: Halfanhour4
Posted by: Makko Mace Halo 3 a better sandbox as well.
Hahahahahahahah nice joke. Halo 3 had literally the worst weapon sandbox out of almost any game I've ever played. They had beyond useless weapons like the Spiker, and the BR itself made half the weapons obsolete by being wildly overpowered.
*fights through veil of nostalgia* Yeah okay the sandbox had serious issues...
-
No slow down when shot in the back. More playlists. Either fix or remove killcams.

No instant respawns (3+ seconds for all gametypes) weapon spawns on map (throughout matches) default load outs (competitive mlg, no armor abilities) no ordnance drops buff carbine and debuff the DMR Allow player to choose when to pick up a flag Some other grievances but don't care to mention as these are bigger/biggest flaws of the game.
-
More custom game options. Campaign scoring added. Flood totally re-done to make it like Infection used to be.
-
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING- Let us able to at least change our guys colour in flood from booger green to ANYTHING else. 343 totally butchered infection, with the CoD like lag. If your gonna take good elements from other games, dont take bad ones too.
Posted by: TH3_AV3NG3R
Posted by: Aang the Avatar
Are you sure you played the gametype? There is no ordinance at all, weapons spawn in designated spots like the old game. AR is good now, although I'm not sure why your opinion on that gun affects the gametype, you don't have to pick it...
Yes I have. A noob weapon like the AR shouldn't be in there because BKs should be using precision weapons instead of prey and spray. It does affect gameplay. There shouldn't even be loadouts to pick from. The drops where the weapon spawn still feel like they are random. I didn't say the ordinance was in there. They still highlight the weapons spawn like we are some type of lil kid playing our first time. The game doesn't play anything like the old ones. You sound like you don't know anything like Reach was your first Halo game or something. In plus, all the maps are horrible. It is like the person who made the maps has autism or something.
Okay, well, I disagree with almost everything you say, but I doubt we will convince each other on why we think the other person is wrong. I guess we'll just have to respect each other's different opinions.
Posted by: alex0612 What How? Halo 4: True Skill -still not out yet. 2012 Forge -tons of soft and hard kill zones with lots of bumpy/goofy terrain. Specializations -meh More ugly armor Armor that no one uses. Unlockable Items -items that were already availble at default in previous Halo's. Bad spawns Halo 3: True Skill -when people weren't boosting/buying accounts it was pretty accurate. 2007 Forge -Large flat areas -hard barriers that could be broken that allowed for more building space and hours of exploration. Less Bad Armor .
Halo 4 has 1.7 Kill times making you consistently hit all five shots. Halo 3 had 1.9 Kill times making you hit 4 shots. Not as skillful as Halo 4. I've noticed on maps like Haven, it all comes down to who can consistently hit all of their shots. Also, due to the faster Kill times, the game punishes you for every single mistake that you make. Sandbox? That all comes down to opinion, so I'm not even gonna' argue about that.
Halo 4 can't be skillful. Huge hitbox, heavy aim assist, random drops, random ordinance drops, etc. Just because it has a shorter kill time doesn't mean it is skillful. The game punishes the person who doesn't hit first.
Posted by: Makko Mace Halo 3 had a lot more skill involved,
Questionable
a better sandbox as well.
Where one god-weapon dominated them all and half the stuff was near useless.
Custom games were an actual thing,
Correct

Halo 3 had a terrible forge, Reach had the best but it was too bland, Halo 4 is between 3 and Reach there.
