Why does Plankton want the Krabby Patty secret formula?
Seriously, why does Plankton want the Krabby Patty recipe so badly? One episode says it's because he wants to eat it, another says it's so his restaurant can have some business, another says it's so he can run Mr. Krabs out of business, and another says he wants to use the burger recipe to take over the world. WHICH IS IT?

By running Krabs out of business and convincing Spongebob to work for him, people will flock to the chum bucket. Slowly and surely he will take over the (undersea) world. And then, together with Spongebob's friendship/employment and the fact that Patrick likes Krabby Patties, he will finally have the means to talk to Patrick. Using his power as the ruler of the world, and with the knowledge and tips Spongebob will give, he will be able to woo Patrick and one day wed him.
