Super Star Destroyer Executor vs The Long Night of Solace.
An all out space battle between the two and all of their fighters and gunships. Either ship can board each other.

It think they call it a laser because it looks like one when it's firing.

The other thing is that in RoTJ we seen the Death Star 2 using its laser to target the Rebels ships. It makes it even worse for LNoS because it's much larger than the ones being targeted. Lets not forget the amount of ships that are stored in the Death Star.
