Posted by: spawn031 Vi-Doc, as in short for "Video Documentary".
This guy gets it.
-
Technically it's V-EYE-DOCK, like some have said, however I always say Vih-dock since the lower case "i" (in ViDoc) suggests it's a part of the first abbreviation. For me to pronounce it as V-EYE-DOCK, it would seem logical to write it as VIDoc with the upper case "i" denoting a separate word. Visual Information Documentation, as it were.

Vee-Doc.

Only one of them makes sense. vid-ock videos are not called v-eye-deos.
-
Vid Doc When I see a letter capitalized in the middle of a word I usually think it's used to end the first word and begin the new.

Forgot I posted in this thread earlier. [Edited on 10.27.2012 2:11 PM PDT]

Vid-dock Except the first "d" is kind of silent. Like if I partially get that first "d" sound out, but not quite. Not, "duh-duh", but "d . . . duh" [Edited on 10.14.2012 6:30 PM PDT]

Vi-dock. The way it should be pronounced phonetically.
-
I've always said it "vie-dock" in my head.

according to the US military, veye doc. I say viddoc though. ViDoc stands for Visual Information Documentation, by the way. [Edited on 10.14.2012 6:09 PM PDT]
