Nice guys finish last (girl thread)
If your a nice guy type (Who treats girls like a man should do) and your looks are Average to below average,but you don't have much confidence, you're not taking part in any school or community activities, you're socially awkward, you're shy and a little quiet........ Chances are girls might think you're a creep or a weirdo.

If you're socially awkward and lacking confidence, looks are probably the least of your worries. Confidence is huge. The only reason jerks are successful with girls is because theyre confident. If youre confident AND nice, then average looks shouldnt be a problem.

Suicidal thoughts can come from many types of mental disorders. Most commonly is clinical depression. If they wait for someone to attempt suicide before they decide to treat a simple depression diagnosis, they may have waited too late.

Stop being shy and socially awkward, force yourself to talk to people. It doesn't matter what they think of you they were going to end up thinking you were weird anyway if you keep acting how you are.

The fact I've never heard of one going to a ward for depression should say something then. Here you can do everything but attempt suicide (including self harm and chronic thoughts of suicide) and they will only treat yours as a minor case. Although that counter-productiveness is only one of the many issues with mental health treatment here; others include treating depression in females far more seriously then males, treating depression in young people extremely lightly and refusal to prescribe medication to them for depression and thinking every mental illness is autism.......

Maybe you should of designed the thread for us to be able to respond and discuss something to do with that topic? I agree to a point with the nice guy, and how they don't get with girls as much. It annoys me so much when I see a d.ick with a girl, than they complain afterwards

Yep you described me although I ain't that shy, I have friends that are girls and that is it thats the best I can do and I see them crying and complaining about their -blam-hole boyfriends who treat them like -blam- and I sit there listening like a gentlemen yet they would never want to be with me. Some advice I got from my cousin who was really drunk at the time and makes sence in a way ' Don't be too nice women don't want too nice and if you are too nice there is a high chance they want nothing to do with you because you are too nice. You can still be nice butn ot too nice'
