What does Post-launch mean?
I was reading the details of the Halo 4: L.E and it said that map packs will be available for post-launch on xbox live. What does this mean?

The L.E. will come with a code to the maps. It should let you enter the code and get early access to the maps. That's what it implies, anyway.

They can't play them at launch because they won't be completed at launch. They may be working on them already, but they likely won't be finished up, playtested and polished until closer to the map pack release date.

Post-launch means a little while after the game's initial release.
