Clair's Kingdra was hard enough in the originals, but in the remakes it's an A-tier troll.
-
Aggro Master Race. Only tough ones I ever fought was the Fire Leader in R/S/E, only because I always chose Treeko. inb4 Mudkips
Posted by: naetle07
Posted by: epicCgamer why not play gold or silver? or even crystal? why do you have to play the moneygrabbing remake of the best pokemon games?
Because they are superior in almost every way, and still capture the amazing feeling of the best Generation, while adding in stuff from the 4th, such as a slightly expanded Pokedex, wider movepools, updated visuals (which are beautiful), updated audio tracks (although you can set them back to the original later in the game), most of the original GSC carts have died and emulators can be a bit unwieldy on-the-go, Kanto isn't nearly as bland as the original GSC, and there's more stuff in the post-game. Just for starters. OT: Yeah, Whitney always gave me a hard time, it didn't matter which starter I chose, and I always chose either Cyndaquil or Totodile. I may LP Crystal and find a better way to take out Whitney...perhaps I'll use a Gastly. Also...you started with Chikorita? Grass-types are my favorite, and I never started with Chikorita, it's just asking for an ass-whooping. You've got balls.
i have a pokemon blue, gold and crystal behind me in a cupboard right now in perfect working condition, and the emulators on my laptop and phone are fine and include the original game instead of some altered version of the game.

Blue version infinite rare candy master race.

She's a bit dumbed down in the newer ones from what I hear. You've got to play the original, that's where the hurt comes from.

Once of these days.
DS Lites are very cheap these days, although Pokemon games always go for an elevated price, even after a few years, especially buying HG/SS new because of the PokeWalker. Just emulate it for now.

1) Get Abra in the Game Corner 2) Trade it in the Department store for a Machop 3) Train that bad boy up into a Machoke. 4) Normal Pokemon don't stand a chance.
Posted by: AgingWhite Fire
Posted by: Omega2293 Whitney is so easy. I never knew why everyone found her so difficult to beat. Morty on the other hand...
Strangely enough i find Morty to be the easier of the two. Only issue i have with Whitney was the rollout on Miltank taking out my pokemon that fought her Clefairy and they it just gets more and more powerful. MOrty is jsut annoying with putting you to sleep and dream eatering you to death.
My Quilava one-shotted Miltank, but Gengar was faster than all three Pokemon at that point (Quilava, Haunter and Nidorina).
Posted by: Kai Hiwatari The gym leaders weren't too tough, when my Quilava evolved into Typhlosion I proceeded to steamroll everyone in my path.
Ah and there is one of my main problems i went with chikorita. So by this point i have no good or any fire type.
