Or are they real? Or at least some of them?

Everything on Hardcore Pawn is scripted, but the pawn shop where it takes place is an actual pawn shop the size of a warehouse. The guys on Storage Wars go through a lot more units than they show on television. They don't make nearly as much as you might think. Pawn Stars is probably the worst. The store is mostly filled with merch for the show and is a huge tourist trap. The hosts of the show are never there, and the employees that are there hardly know what they're doing.

I'm pretty sure a lot of that is scripted.
-
To an extent they are fake.
-
I still enjoy them nonetheless.

it's just another thing for the herd to waste their minds on

Oh, you need change for a doller? Sorry the best I can do is 75 cents.

If it was faked you would imagine the store owners would know everything about a particular item everytime... but no- Let me call a friend who knows more about this to check it out.

idc what they are, they provide entertainment. Is that not enough?

Classy names.

They are dramatizations of real events.
