Why do lots of older member have such un original names?
Considering that you made accounts such long times ago, why are there so many older accounts with numbers added onto the end. Surely all the good names wouldn't have been taken back then.
I'm talking 4years onward old.
Yes my name does have numbers but apparently someone had already made the name ankerd before my brother made this account.
So tell me, why do you have the name you do? and what other names did you try and get, before settling for your current?

Gamertag. 7ruth was taken. Halo 3 was coming out, so I just went with the AR. Which I hate with a passion. How young I was.

Mine is also based off my old Gamertag. stoopidTHUG was already taken, so I added an "a" at the end.

My Gamertag had been this since 05, so I just used that when I signed up for the Halo 3 stats/fileshare integration. What's funny is years later I was able to drop the I's on my Gamertag so now it doesn't match anymore. I honestly didn't think I would use the Forums post Halo 3, looks like I was wrong.

..how rude! My brother created and set my account up in January 2008. We sat in the lounge and the troll spelt Arbiter 'Arbitor'. Such in a pain in the arse but I lived with it. Here we are today 2012 and I use it for everyhting.

I never did that stuff when I was younger. Considering this account was made a bit ago (and is based off my GT, I'm quite proud.) Even if I haven't hit the 4-years mark (3 years), I still say a fully original, spaces and all, two words with a meaning name is pretty impressive in these days. [Edited on 09.17.2012 10:15 AM PDT]

I used the use your gamertag option on my first bnet account and then went on deployment overseas. When I got back I had forgotten my password and stuff so I made this account. I added the 420 on the end for obvious reasons, not that I do that stuff now but I sure did when I was younger.

I didn't really care about my name all that much when I made my first gamertag. I joined bungie.net shortly after I made my gamertag and decided to use the same name on here. Oh well, it's just a name. (I also don't really know if I count as an older member, is 2008 considered old?)

I'm not old school, but I stole mine from a special attack on an old sega cd RPG that sucked away a good 180 hours of my life. in retrospect Reach has sucked over 500 hours of my life... I wonder what ridiculous number it would be if i didn't have kids.
