Why do lots of older member have such un original names?
Considering that you made accounts such long times ago, why are there so many older accounts with numbers added onto the end. Surely all the good names wouldn't have been taken back then.
I'm talking 4years onward old.
Yes my name does have numbers but apparently someone had already made the name ankerd before my brother made this account.
So tell me, why do you have the name you do? and what other names did you try and get, before settling for your current?

Because a lot of us were dumb when we were younger. That's why I ended up making a new account later. I hated my old name.

I feel like you answered your own question in the OP. As for my name at the time of creation I could not for the life of me think of a good name to use so one of my friends at the time told me to use this. I've thought of a million better ones ever since that day.

I doubt most people consider 4+ Years old, but if that's what you're going by, Halo had already been around for what, 7 years at the time? Plenty of time for Bungie to have a popular website. And lets not forget all their games prior to Halo. And, with alts and such, names get eaten up. Basically, it just happens. People use names that other people want. There was plenty of time for names to be taken by the time these 'older' members got here.

I simply didn't care for an "original" name. I went with what I liked at the time. I still like my name now.
