Sword Art Online. Anyone going to watch this?
Anyone else watching or going to watch it? Essentially it's a very familiar plot but the best example i've ever seen of it done. Here's the trailer [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv8u5bY8Now]Sword Art Trailer[/url].
The story bases around 10,000 people getting stuck in an VRMMORPG and to survive they must clear the final boss at level 100.
Anyone going to watch this?

My only issue is that all of the time skips make it hard to have proper character development. Though, the main character is done pretty well. It leaves me with a lot questions, such as "what's going on in the real world during this?" And that keeps me interested in what will happen.

It's not the worst show, and I'm appreciative that he isn't a total loser, but it takes that one positive point and goes in the complete opposite direction. He lost that one fight, but still he's pretty much perfect and it's kind of annoying. I like the actual premise of the show, just not how it's done. [/quote] What specifically puts you off about it? That's because it's based on light novels and its going in chronological order so all the little side stories are being done first and now the main story is starting. I doubt dubs are going to be out for some time, seeing as it's still ongoing and none have yet been dubbed. I was like that at first but after a while you get used to subs, and it always sounds better in japanese.

Sadly I can't watch anime without dubs. I can't pay attention to the subs enough to be immersed. Though it looks an absolutely great show, and I hope dubs will eventually be available.
